Options
Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 5:00AM We use the back door of our house almost exclusively . The door enters directly into our kitchen and we tend to pile everything in our arms onto the kitchen table as soon as we walk in the door which is annoying when it's time to get food on the table . Over the weekend I finally decided to to carve out a little space for an entryway. We recently moved a wooden chest out of Riley's room and it works perfectly in this spot . The bottom drawer holds all of the kids' shoes, the middle drawer holds dog leashes, etc., and the top drawer holds all of the random JUNK that seems to accumulate at our back door .
Now that we have storage I need to accessorize . I have worked on a couple of different options and thought it would be fun to get your vote :)

I think I have a favorite but I like elements of all three options . Do you have a preference ?

Hi Rachel, they all look great, but my favorite is option 2. That mirror is stunning!
I would stick with option 1 but also add in the driftwood bowl from #3.... isn't organizing good for the soul?!
I love the chevron painting! What a gorgeous play of colors and energy. I like the flowers next and the mirror last. But I love bold colors. They all look beautiful though so go with your gut.
Oh I am in love with the third. The pop of yellow with the stool sold me! Can't wait to hear what you go with.

i am torn between one and two. not much help!
Oh my...such a hard decision. I think my favorite is option 1. I am a sucker for a punch of color. However, I do love the botanical hanging as well. They all would be just lovely in your home! Good luck!
Number 3 but the lamp looks a bit lightweight with the mirror, is there one that is a little more substantial or dark ?

All look great but #2 is a bit formal for the back door. I love #1 and like #2. The color and youthfulness seem more suited for the back door!

Love 1 and 3! But the more I look at the frame on the mirror in 2... I could happily live with any of them in my home. Would you be kind enough to share sources on the art in 1 and 3? AND the lamp?? Love your unique style, Rachel!
