Right now I am digging the bright and bold. If you had asked me a few months ago I would have said soft and soothing.

From a dorky child development (not design) perspective, I say bright & bold. Much more stimulating for the baby. But in general, I love the simpler, "cleaner" room!

I would go for an In the middle look... Not so bright and not so white .. All that white is too blank for a baby , no stimulation, no sense of anything. The bright is too busy and not a bit restful .. maybe a pale color ( yellow) and some bright accents .. mobiles etc ..
