Well Styled

When I look around my house I notice several areas that could use some improvement. One area that really stands out to me is styling. Whether it is a tablescape, bookcase, desk, bar, nightstand, etc, my house could use a little sprucing up in the style department. Oddly enough, my favorite part of working on client's houses is the styling but when it comes to my own house, I always think I will get to it later and it ends up not getting done.

Now that I am taking a short break from client work, I am ready to get to work on my own home. These images are inspiring me to get off the couch and create interesting vignettes around my house. I think I am going to start with the built-ins in the living room. They have been an eyesore for over 3 years now. Maybe if I say I am going to do it on the blog I will actually finally do it! Hopefully I will have "after" pics to show you next week!
