Spring Market Finds
Monday, May 23, 2011 at 5:00AM My trip to Lucketts Spring Market was a success. I got there early enough to avoid traffic, scored a parking spot in the front row, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky! I caught up with several friends and lasted most of the day before the heat finally got to me and it was time to pack up and head home. It is a really fun event but this year definitely seemed much more crowded and the prices seemed a lot higher than last year. I didn't see as many "steals" but I still found lots of inspiration and had a great time checking everything out. While I didn't go on quite the shopping spree that I went on last year, I did manage to pick up a few things.
I picked up a couple of these cute olive trees.

They will look good mixed in with some other greenery in this glass planter that I also bought.

It has a great gold patina.

I also found this little pedestal.

I loved its shape and aged finish. It weighs about 10 pounds - it definitely gave my arms a workout carrying it around with me most of the day.

I also picked up this little blue metal box.

My biggest purchase was this side table.

I love finding interesting side tables so I was happy to discover this guy.

It's the perfect table to show off the beautiful flowers that Riley and Paul bought me at the local farmer's market.

It was a fun day and definitely worth the trip. All of these purchases are supposed to go into my inventory for future clients, but knowing me, I will probably end up keeping some of them :) I spent all day yesterday working on some projects for the nursery so I will have something to show you soon! I hope you all had a great weekend!
