There is a lot of beauty going on in both but I would opt for Thom Filicia's because of the tortoise shell in the other. I think it would gross me out to be up close and personal with it while making a cocktail!
I would take the windows and the tiles from the first picture and combine it with the white cabinets and the gray paint from the second one. =) Greetings from Germany
that tortise shell bothers me a in a bad way. even though i could see the first picture having a stuffed foul on the wall, that's the one i would choose. Although, the second bar would be fit for James Bond, which I love.
The first bar looks to be better stocked ;) But no, both are beautiful. I would choose the first bar because of its casual, 'feel free to make a drink' coziness.

I've had that Thom Filicia image tucked in my inspiration files for years, so I have to go with that one. I love the chrome + rustic table.
