Would you rather

sleep here

Miles Redd

or here?

Molly Luetkemeyer

Y'all always have to hear what I am thinking, so I want to turn the tables and hear what you think! Tell me which room you prefer and why in the comments. Obviously both rooms are beautiful so there isn't a wrong answer. I am just fascinated by people's differing reactions to a room.

I'd say the first image, because it would be amazing to wake up to little birds on the wall and light streaming in. Others might say this room is too busy to sleep... but I sleep with my eyes closed so it would not be a problem for me.

Very interesting....initially, my gut said the first room, but after studying the two rooms more, the fact that the second room appears roomier (spacious) really appeals to me. While I love the aesthetics of the first room, the fact that the bed is right between two walls feels claustrophobic to me. I just like how the second room is more spacious and makes me feel more relaxed!

I have a thing for birds, so i choose the first. The zigzag carpet is amazing. i would nix the blue stools at the end of the bed though and replace with a rich, dark wooden piece. i think the blue hues are cozy!

It's funny, I usually respond more to warm colors (the second room), but I've always loved the visual punch of that first room - the wallpaper, the bed, the zigzag rug. That being said, I'd probably choose the second room when it's all said and done because the birds might drive me crazy after a while. I obviously have design ADD!

I'd prefer the first one. It feels softer, to me, home-i-er. Also, I'm definitely a canopy person. It feels more secure, sheltered. <3
(Ditto on the smaller room size in the first one, actually).

I laughed out loud at the title of this post, btw. :)
I like them both for different reasons. The first one for color, the second for the space. But if I had to pick, I'd go with the first. I'd take that little bag on the stool, too. :)

i like the first, love birds, love the rug, lamps and stools. Husband would not like it though, very feminine! Don't like the colors of the second, the peach and burnt orange combo, not a fan....

the first one! i love the bed, the wallpaper-rug combo, the drapery (reminds me of my fave j.crew blouses) and the crisp bedding. it looks so cozy and intimate!

I like the bed in the first one, but the colors and the walls in the second. the bird wallpaper would just not allow me to sleep, even though I like it, just not for a bedroom.

First one, hands down.

My immediate reaction is the first room - the second one is more masculine.

non of them.
in the first room it feels like i am in a cage and the birds are lookink in at me
the next room the colors are not to my like. my bedroom must have more relexing feeling

the first all the way, its one of my favorites!

Apparently (after reading the other comments), I'm in the minority, but i love the clean lines and spaciousness of the 2nd room, not that my house is anything like it, of course! I'd like to move in that direction, however.

The first one! Birds, four poster bed, the zig zag rug over the ebonized hardwood floor. Love. In fact, this image has been in my bedrooms design file for awhile now too!
