Anthro

I love Anthropologie's store displays.

These flowers are made from cut up plastic bottles.

Marshmellows!

And my favorite:

I took a 3D Sculpture class in college and we often had to make sculptures out of everyday objects. Whoever makes these displays would have rocked that class.

Ditto! They are so inventive and really very economical. I hope those designers are paid well for their amazing contribution to the Anthropologie brand!!

Those are fabulous! My local Anthro store is inside of a mall...the window displays are not so fun but I will keep my eye out for future good windows. I love their hooks and trinkets for organizing my children's belongings. Pretty and functional.

A friend from college -- an art major -- got a job doing displays in some southwestern stores right after we graduated. I think she had a lot of latitude, and there was a serious emphasis on creativity. If they really liked something she did, they'd put it in all their stores. Sounds like basically the coolest job ever.

these are just so adorable and amazing ! Who knew you could do so many things with books !
I love those little pink balloon "reindeer"?

I miss Anthropologie so much ...

The owner of my fave vintage store in Greensboro (Adelaide's www.adelaidesvhg.com) has a daughter who is a SCAD grad and used to style Anthro windows. They give them a $100 to do the displays-- that's all! I love them so much, too-- my favorite was a huge peacock made out of chineese takeout chopstick packages.
